CONSEIL D'ANALYSE ECONOMIQUE
(CAE)
Le Conseil d'analyse économique, créé auprès du Premier ministre par le
décret n°97-766 du 22 juillet 1997, a pour missions d'éclairer, par la
confrontation des points de vue et des analyses, les choix du Gouvernement en
matière économique et d'examiner les questions qui lui sont soumises par le
Premier ministre. La lettre, les Documents de travail et les Rapports
du Conseil d'analyse économique peuvent être consultés en format pdf.
. DIRECTION DE L’ANIMATION DE LA RECHERCHE, DES ETUDES ET DES STATISTIQUES (DARES)
La direction de l'animation de la recherche, des études et des statistiques est chargée d'assurer, en liaison avec l'INSEE, la production régulière et fiable des statistiques utiles au ministère et aux acteurs sociaux (partenaires sociaux, conseils régionaux, acteurs du secteur public de l'emploi, presse économique et sociale). Elle est chargée plus généralement de mettre à la disposition de ces derniers, au travers de ses publications, les éléments de statistique, d'étude, d'évaluation et de recherche qui leur sont nécessaires. Elle a vocation à constituer un pôle d'expression et de référence dans le débat social sur les questions de travail, d'emploi et de formation professionnelle, en promouvant les données statistiques et résultats d'études dont elle est à l'origine. En liaison avec les autres directions, elle promeut aussi et coordonne la politique d'évaluation menée au sein du ministère, coordonne les programmes d'études réalisés sous son égide, et anime les travaux de recherche dans les domaines qui intéressent le ministère. Elle exerce également un rôle d'alerte, d'initiative et de proposition au sein du ministère en fonction des évolutions constatées au travers des statistiques, études et recherches.

IZA is a private, independent research institute, which
conducts nationally and internationally oriented labor market research. IZA sees itself as an international research institute and a place for
communication between academic science, politics, and economic practice. A
number of renowned economists involved in specific research projects cooperate
with IZA, either internally or on a "virtual" basis. IZA also takes an active
part in international research networks.
The Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) analyzes the problems associated with
the organization of labor in a rapidly developing globalized economic
environment. Within a framework of six research areas, IZA focuses on original
and internationally competitive research activities in all fields of labor
economics. In addition IZA provides policy consultancy concerning crucial topics

d'employeurs. Sa mission est consultative : elle consiste à adresser au
Gouvernement et au Parlement soit de sa propre initiative, soit à la demande de

Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform
The new Department leads work to create the conditions for
business success through competitive and flexible markets that create value for
businesses, consumers and employees. It drives regulatory reform, and works
across Government and with the regions to raise levels of UK productivity. It
will provide support for the new Business Council for Britain. The Department
will promote productivity and enterprise across Government and within the EU. A
key priority will be its cross-Government role in promoting better regulation
across the business, public and voluntary sectors. The Better Regulation
Executive has moved from the Cabinet Office to the new Department to lead that
work. In addition, the Department has assumed from the Department of Trade and
Industry policy responsibility for productivity, business relations, energy,
competition and consumer policy, corporate law, employment regulation, and,
working closely with the Department for Communities and Local Government making
sustainable improvements in the economic performance of all English regions. The
Department will have joint responsibility with the Department for International
Development on trade policy, and with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on
trade promotion and inward investment (through UK Trade & Investment).

The Section was established in 1922 through the suggestion of Clarence J. Hicks,

The Levy Economics Institute of Bard College, founded in 1986 through the

The Australian Fair Pay Commission
(Commission) is an independent, statutory body responsible for setting and
adjusting Federal Minimum Wages to promote the economic prosperity of the people
of Australia. The Commission was established under the Workplace Relations
Amendment (WorkChoices)
Act 2005, on 14 December, 2005. The Commission replaces the wage-setting
and adjusting functions of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission, which
retains its role as a national tribunal dealing with employment disputes.
The Commission uses a combination of commissioned research, meetings with
stakeholders, public consultations and written submissions to inform its
wage-setting decisions.

Le Service propose une approche comparative et globale des relations de travail,
des questions de rémunération et de législation du travail en vue d'aider les
mandants tripartites de l'OIT à développer des politiques et pratiques du
travail bien fondées et à encourager la capacité des mandants à formuler et à mettre en oeuvre les
politiques et systèmes de rémunération au plan national et au niveau de
l'entreprise. Ces activités visent à promouvoir des politiques de rémunération
efficaces et équitables dans le cadre de questions d'administration des
salaires, tant au plan national qu'au niveau de l'entreprise. Le Service a
également oeuvré conjointement avec des Etats Membres pour concevoir des
politiques de fixation de salaires minima.
The Branch provides a comparative and global perspective on labour relations,
remuneration issues and labour law to assist the ILO's tripartite constituents
in developing sound labour policies and practices and in enhancing the capacity
of constituents to formulate and implement national and enterprise pay policies
and pay systems. These activities aim to promote effective and equitable pay
policies, in varied forms ranging from national-level to enterprise-level pay
administration issues. The Branch has also worked with member States in
developing minimum wage-setting policies.
